Symphony Hall, Boston

On behalf of the entire Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program, thank you for attending Mission Gratitude presented by State Street and supporting our efforts to heal veterans and their families affected by Post Traumatic Stress and traumatic brain injury. We hope you enjoyed the 9 innings of entertainment and celebration of our nation’s heroes.

With your generosity and the money raised Monday night, we can continue to provide clinical care to veterans and their families. It’s not too late to send in your pledge cards distributed in your program last night. You can send your pledge or check to Mission Gratitude, 100 Cambridge Street, 13th Floor, Boston, MA 02114. Every dollar helps make a direct impact in the lives of veterans and their families.

As Medal of Honor recipient SSG Ty Carter declared last night, the goal is “to remove the D from PTSD. It’s not a disorder. It’s a normal human reaction to trauma. We have to do better by our warriors.” Read more about SSG Carter at Mission Gratitude Presented by State Street in the Boston Globe. You can also see a fun article about the event in Sunday’s Boston Globe.

Our online auction is open through September 30th. Visit to bid on great vacation packages, Red Sox memorabilia, jewelry, exclusive golf outings and more.

If you did not have a chance to purchase our Mission Gratitude branded merchandise, it is not too late. Please send an email to to purchase our ties, totes, concert t-shirts or koozies.

Thank you to all our attendees and to all of our generous sponsors.
